Juried In - The Mosaic Arts International 2011 Exhibition
October 2010 - We are very pleased to inform you that your work, Times Neighborhood Park Pebble Mosaic, has been selected to be included in the Mosaic Arts International 2011 exhibition at The Mexican American Cultural Center in Austin, TX. We received over 300 entries from artists in 10 countries which the jurors carefully deliberated over for several days. The jury selected 42 pieces for inclusion in the MAI exhibition to be held from February 18 – March 30, 2011.
Pebble Mosaic Installed in Markham
August 2010 - The residents came out to experience their new functional art installation within minutes of the guard rails going down. Times Neighbourhood Park is situated between Galleria Parkway and Suncrest Blvd. just south of Hwy. 7 in Markham, Ontario. If you are in the neighbourhood, check it out. (50.2 m2 beach washed pebbles, concrete)
Pebble Mosaic segment shot for Jardin Mag
August 2010 - Producers were at the studio in August to film a segment for a Jardin Mag episode, a French language TV program about landscape design and architecture. The segment will be shown in an episode where a landscape architect is working on a residential project that includes a pebble mosaic. Jardin Mag is broadcast on Radio-Canada and ARTV.

June 2010 - True Patriot Love and Trees of Ottawa Tryptic will be on display at the Maplestone Gallery in Creemore, Ontario opening 02 July.
Mosaic Mural Commission Won
May 2010 - Aquilo Mosaics has won a competition to build and install a mosaic mural depicting the Glenview Presbyterian Church. The mural will be 12 m2 and be mounted along Yonge Street close to the church.
Custom Mosaic Island Featured in NKBA Profiles and Ottawa Magazines Interiors Edition 2009
Friedemann Weinhardt of Design First Kitchen Interiors has been selected in the small and medium kitchens categories of the deign competition for 2009. In his medium kitchen entry, Aquilo Mosaics built the mosaic island counter top. The same kitchen is featured in Ottawa Magazine.
Award for Canadian Actor/Director Sarah Polley
19 May 08 - Aquilo Mosaics produced the inaugural Anthony Minghella Memorial Award for the Canadian Screen Training Centre. The award will be presented to Sarah Polley at SIFT ceremonies 28 May.
One of Canada's Largest Outdoor Pebble Mosaic
25 March 08 - Aquilo Mosaics has been commissioned to construct a 500 sq. ft. pebble mosaic for Times Neighbourhood Park in Markham, Ontario.
Installation will begin July 2010.

We are very pleased to inform you that your work, “Sycamore,” has been selected to be included in the Mosaic Arts International 2008 exhibition. We received entries from 180 artists in 7 countries. The jury selected 64 pieces for inclusion in the exhibition at the Bakehouse Arts Complex in Miami, Florida next March and April.
