As an educator, Aquilo Mosaics endeavors to impart a strong set of technical skills as well as a historical framework and a sense of possibility for this ancient craft in contemporary society.
Each mosaic created by Aquilo Mosaics is unique. Each project is carefully designed and executed; each tessera is hand shaped. You won't find "manufactured" pieces here: no factory-cut tesserae or stones, no cutting corners (metaphorically speaking).
